Turkey's Proposal for a Quadrilateral Meeting on the Cyprus Issue

Turkey is attempting to organize a quadrilateral meeting on the Cyprus issue in New York, excluding the EU and the UK. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan emphasizes the need for dialogue, which would include Greece and both sides in Cyprus. Turkey aims to have its sovereign equality recognized within the framework of this meeting. Nicosia has already informed the UN and the EU that it will not partake in these Turkish proposals.
