Consideration of Private Ambulances' Involvement in GHS

The Health Insurance Organization is considering the involvement of private ambulances for the transportation of non-emergency patients. The aim is to alleviate the burden on state ambulance services and to separate emergency from non-emergency cases. The Health Minister emphasized that emergency cases will remain with state ambulances. Political parties support the establishment of an independent Ambulance Authority.
