Trial Date Set for Al Jazeera Video Case

The trial concerning the Al Jazeera video is set to begin on January 13, 2025. The Nicosia Criminal Court will meet on December 16 to schedule the case. Among the defendants are former House President Dimitris Syllouris and former AKEL MP Christakis Chiovanis. All defendants face serious charges related to corruption and conspiracy against the Republic.
