Long-term Development Goals for Varosha

Ersin Tatar outlined long-term goals for the demolition and reconstruction of buildings in Varosha to boost the economy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. He claimed that opening the area has brought significant economic benefits and an increase in tourism. Tatar expressed hope that property-related issues would be resolved through the property committee. He also noted that the recovery of Varosha was a topic in previous negotiations, but the Greek Cypriots did not want its return.
