Investigation of Cyberattack in Cyprus

Cyprus has fallen victim to a cyberattack by Arab hacker groups using DDoS techniques against six infrastructures of the Republic. Although the hackers' attempts were unsuccessful, authorities are actively gathering information and working on preventing similar attacks in the future. The Cyber Crime Unit is monitoring the situation with the assistance of Europol. Authorities have activated all available resources to mitigate further risks.
