The accident occurred in 2006 when a woman driver cut him off, causing the collision. The new ruling acknowledges his permanent injuries and the need for future surgeries, which may limit his work and sports opportunities. Ultimately, a total of €400,000 was awarded for general damages and loss of future earnings.
