Need for Support for Parents of Children with ADHD in Cyprus
October 27, 2024
Parents of children with ADHD are expressing strong complaints about the disregard they encounter from the educational system in Cyprus. In a recent discussion, it was highlighted that many children face social isolation or drop out of school. The situation is reported to be better in primary schools, where a few supportive teachers exist, but challenges persist in secondary education. Opportunities for the involvement of youth with ADHD in social initiatives need to be promoted.
