Measures for Emission Reduction and Implementation of Vehicle Law in Cyprus

The Ministry of Transport announced that the ban on vehicles with conventional fuels will be implemented only after promoting measures to enhance low and zero-emission vehicles. The aim is to improve public transport and ensure safe infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists. Reducing emissions remains a priority for Cyprus, as required by the EU's Recovery and Resilience Plan. The law already passed includes relevant regulations for reducing air pollution from road transport.
