A 76-year-old woman became a victim of an online scam, losing €145,000. She communicated with an unknown man via WhatsApp, who pretended to be a UN officer. Through their relationship, he pressured her to transfer money to various foreign bank accounts. The case is being investigated by the Limassol police.
