Measures Required for Replacing Defective Airbags in Cyprus

Approximately 12,000 vehicles with defective airbags are on the roads in Cyprus. This issue has come to light following the death of a 19-year-old linked to these airbags. Authorities are taking corrective measures to replace the faulty airbags as they pose serious risks to passengers. So far, repairs have been made to 33,000 out of 55,000 affected vehicles.
