Turkey to Acquire 40 Eurofighter Typhoon Jets

Turkey will acquire 40 Eurofighter Typhoon jets, as stated by Defense Minister Yasir Güler. Germany, which had previously opposed the sale, eventually supported it with the help of other NATO countries. The minister emphasized positive relations with Greece and the desire to transform the Aegean into a sea of friendship. Regarding Cyprus, he reiterated their support for the two-state solution.
