Efforts to Activate the e-kalathi Platform Before the Holidays

The Ministry of Commerce aims to launch the e-kalathi platform for the holidays, targeting readiness by December 20. The platform will provide price comparison capabilities for a limited number of products. Despite the intentions, there are challenges related to the supply and technical support of the platform. Nevertheless, it is hoped that necessary processes will be completed for it to operate before the holidays.
