Technical Inspection and Certification of the Prometheus Ship

The Prometheus ship of EΤΥΦΑ is undergoing technical inspections in Malaysia, preparing for certification as a floating LNG regasification unit. Initial estimates for necessary improvements exceeded 12 million euros, but recent indications suggest lower costs. EΤΥΦΑ plans to initiate a bidding process to find a terminal for the ship's rental, which is challenging due to increased demand in Europe. The completion of the works will enable it to operate effectively in the future.
