Licensing of Regional Dog Shelters Expected in Nicosia

The first regional dog shelter for the municipalities of Nicosia is expected to be licensed by the first half of 2025. This initiative aims to improve the management of stray dogs, but the licensing processes are progressing slowly. Local authorities hope to establish at least six shelters in total.
