Access Challenges to Health Services for Elderly Patients

The situation for bedridden and elderly patients in Cyprus is concerning, with numerous complaints reaching the Patient Observatory. These patients face significant difficulties accessing health services and home care. The aging population exacerbates the need for more comprehensive solutions. The OSAK is calling for the promotion of legislation to address these needs.
