Agreement Between Egypt and Cyprus for the Exploitation of Natural Gas

Egypt and Cyprus have signed an important agreement for the exploitation of natural gas reserves in the Kronos and Aphrodite fields. The signing of the Host Government Agreement is scheduled for February 17 and concerns the terms of cooperation with the companies ENI and Total. Additionally, a memorandum of understanding for the Aphrodite field will be signed, which is a positive step for future binding agreements. The prior negotiations were extensive, and the agreement is expected to facilitate the commercial utilization of natural gas.
