Searching for Floating Desalination Units

The Ministry of Agriculture is seeking floating desalination units to address the water scarcity crisis caused by prolonged drought on the island. Two options are being considered: coastal desalination facilities and land-based facilities. The Water Development Department is conducting consultations with the market for the procurement of desalinated water and invites interested parties to submit their proposals. The selection of the most suitable procurement method will be based on various evaluation parameters.
