Licensing process advances for solar park in Lythrodontas and surrounding areas

The examination of a 180MW solar park in the communities of Lythrodontas, Catalyonta, and Mathiatis has moved to the next phase. The project does not affect the protected area of 'Yialias River' due to the necessary buffer zone being maintained. However, local authorities and organized groups oppose the construction. The project is expected to proceed to further environmental assessment.
