Challenges in the Electricity Authority and the Need for Green Energy Production

The chairman, George Petrou, pointed out that the Authority is struggling to produce green energy due to a lack of land. Delays by the Regulatory Authority for Energy prevented the Authority from entering the renewable energy sector in a timely manner. As a result, the production of more expensive energy from traditional sources continues.
