Driver Fined €3,500 for Fatal Accident in Agia Fyla

The Limassol Court imposed a €3,500 fine on a 42-year-old driver for a fatal traffic accident that occurred in June 2022 in Agia Fyla. The defendant admitted to the charge of causing death due to negligence; however, her lawyer disputed claims that she was using her phone. The court found that the error was a momentary lapse, and she was also banned from driving for three months.
