Arrest of 60-Year-Old for Fraud Against Elderly Woman in Limassol

A 60-year-old suspect was arrested in Limassol for a fraud scheme targeting an elderly woman, from whom he obtained money and jewelry. He claims he received instructions from an unknown person impersonating an employer through a Facebook ad. Authorities tracked the suspect through investigations and surveillance footage, as well as information obtained from his WhatsApp usage. During a body search, cash and jewelry that appeared to be stolen were discovered.
