Discovery of Cypriot Foxes During Development Study in Metohios Area

Four Cypriot foxes were spotted in the Metohios Kykkos area of Nicosia during an environmental study related to development projects. The Cypriot fox is an endemic species that has been facing a continuous decline in its population. The study also recorded 21 bird species, some of which require conservation measures. There are concerns regarding light pollution that may arise from the development in this area.
