Diplomatic Relations of the Republic of Cyprus with OTS States

Turkey is attempting to achieve recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus through diplomatic relations with countries in the Organization of Turkish States. Despite Turkey and the occupying regime's expectations, these countries are hesitant to move towards recognition. The Republic of Cyprus has successfully established diplomatic relations with most of the OTS member states, except for Turkey and Azerbaijan. Recent developments indicate that dialogues with these countries continue, despite the lack of formal relations.
