Trump Warns China Over Tariffs

U.S. President Donald Trump warned China that if it does not cancel the 34% tariffs on American products, he will impose 50% tariffs on Chinese goods. He condemned Beijing for historically high tariffs and illegal subsidies. Additionally, he canceled any scheduled meetings with China and plans to negotiate with other countries. The U.S. will enforce new tariffs starting April 9 if China does not respond.
