New Leadership in the Ecologist Movement and Upcoming Challenges

Stavros Papadouris has taken over the leadership of the Ecologist Movement and is set to guide the party through a critical electoral period. Despite challenges and internal disagreements that have emerged, the new president is determined to upgrade the Movement ahead of the 2026 elections. Papadouris received 71.72% of the votes, while significant members of the party have recently left to join VOLT. The history and ongoing parliamentary presence of the Ecologists provide a foundation for their prospects.
