Sister of Dimitris Christofias Passes Away

Despoina Mavridou, sister of former President Dimitris Christofias, passed away on April 9 at the age of 73. Her funeral will take place on April 11 in Tseri, where the family will receive condolences. She was very important to Dimitris Christofias, having donated a kidney to him in 1999, and he referred to her as his 'second mother.'
