Concerns about Vehicle Recall Processes in Cyprus

The Cypriot Automobile Trade Union is presenting important findings to the Investigative Committee investigating vehicle recalls due to faulty TAKATA airbags. They emphasize the lack of a central database and clear guidelines from the Department of Road Transport regarding mandatory recalls. Since May 2004, legislation has been established for vehicle inspections, but its implementation has been ineffective.
