Impacts of the Ceasefire in Ukraine and U.S. Positions

The State Department has expressed its desire for an extension of the ceasefire announced by President Putin for Easter, although the Kremlin has stated that there is no such order. Russia and Ukraine are accusing each other of violating the ceasefire. Despite escalating military activities, the situation appears quieter today in some areas. The U.S. remains focused on achieving a lasting ceasefire.
