Evaluating the Viability of Solutions in Cyprus

The viability of a federal solution to the Cyprus issue is questionable due to the lack of trust between the two communities. Ongoing negotiations have not yielded meaningful results, primarily because of Turkish ambitions. Some prominent figures suggest a two-state solution as a feasible alternative.
