President Christodoulides' Visit to Israel and Palestine

President Nikos Christodoulides arrived in Israel for a working visit and will meet with two families of hostages. He will then hold meetings with Israeli leadership and visit Palestine to meet President Mahmoud Abbas. The discussions will focus on peace and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region. This visit is significant ahead of Cyprus's upcoming presidency of the EU Council.
