Despite concerns regarding national security, the service acknowledges that there are no legal restrictions for foreigners registering companies, as long as they meet sanction criteria. The issue of foreigners buying land through companies has raised concerns about rising property prices and housing problems for locals. The service is examining the procedures necessary to manage these applications.
