Humanitarian Role of Cyprus in the Region

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, stated that Cyprus is not involved in the ongoing conflict in the region and its role is strictly humanitarian. He mentioned that consultations with other countries, including the EU and the USA, are ongoing to ensure Cyprus's security. The Republic of Cyprus has activated a humanitarian assistance plan and is prepared to provide support if needed. So far, no official requests for assistance have been submitted.
