Criminal Investigator Disagrees with Attorney General's Decision

Criminal investigator Thanasis Athanasiou expressed his disagreement with the Attorney General's decision not to pursue criminal charges related to the murder case of Thanasis Nikolaou. He urged the Attorney General to reconsider the decision and to allow the victim's family to file private criminal charges if they wish. Athanasiou believes that justice should determine whether the actions of seven individuals are punishable. He also referenced a previous statement that indicated there was no evidence of intentional neglect of duty.
