Mass Installation of Smart Meters in Cyprus

The Electricity Authority of Cyprus announced the start of a mass installation of smart meters in all areas of Cyprus, beginning on June 17, 2025. The areas include Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta, and Paphos. The installation will require a power cut of up to 20 minutes during the meter replacement. The EAC apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
