Challenges Faced by Family Due to Illegal Reservoir Construction

A family from the village of Tries Elies has been struggling for 29 years to claim their rights due to a mistake by the Water Development Department. In 1996, a water reservoir was constructed on their land without proper authorization. The situation remains unresolved, preventing the owners from building on their property. Despite the Commissioner's decisions, the expropriation and rectification of the mistake remain uncertain.
