Charges of sexual abuse of a minor against a 31-year-old in Cyprus

A 31-year-old man is facing charges of sexual abuse of a minor in Cyprus. The allegations are linked to incidents that occurred in 2020 and 2021 when the victim was around 12 years old. The mother of the victim was also arrested for allegedly knowing about the abusive acts. The accused was located in the Czech Republic and extradited to Cyprus, awaiting trial at the end of August.
