Serious Fire Damage in Souni – Zanatzia and Lofou

A large fire has caused severe destruction in areas of the Limassol District, particularly in the communities of Souni – Zanatzia and Lofou. The fire destroyed houses and the natural environment, with residents taking the initiative to evacuate their villages. In Lofou, around 20 houses were reported burned, and residents who were trapped were rescued by the police. Authorities are continuing efforts to extinguish the fire and assess the damages.
