Challenges in Fire Extinguishing in the Vouni Community

The mayor of Vouni, Matthaios Protopapas, attributed the damage from the fire to a lack of organization. He pointed out that the fire trucks could not replenish water due to a power outage. Despite previous fires, no preventive measures were taken, and 35 houses have been completely destroyed. The community is determined to recover through solidarity and a sense of pride.
