10-Month Prison Sentence for 69-Year-Old in Connection with Fatal Traffic Accident

A 69-year-old man was sentenced to 10 months in prison by the Limassol District Court for causing a fatal traffic accident. He hit and fatally injured a 52-year-old pedestrian who was next to the sidewalk. In addition to the prison term, he received 8 penalty points and will be banned from driving for three months. The incident occurred on April 1, 2023, early in the morning in Limassol.
