Changes in Regulations Regarding Multiple Pensions by Parliament

The Parliament's plenary session decided to make changes concerning multiple pensions, excluding even future officials. The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, had referred back six laws requesting constitutional amendments. Some of the proposals from the Legal Service were accepted, but not all. The changes include exceptions for judges and other officials, which may lead to legal challenges in the future. There was intense discussion regarding the adequacy of these regulations.
