Tourists leave without paying fines, and locals remain untraceable. The police are requesting changes in legislation to make rental companies provide accurate information about renters. Abroad, renters are often required to pay for any fines incurred. Additionally, a plan is being developed to address violations from Turkish Cypriot drivers.
