Initiatives for Enhancing Water Supply in Cyprus

The Water Development Department (WDD) is working to address water supply issues in Cyprus. Four mobile desalination units are being installed to enhance water supply to communities. In areas facing water shortages, the government will cover the cost of transporting water with tankers. This initiative aims to prevent serious public health problems. Communities are urged to submit necessary invoices and certificates to receive financial support.
