Ongoing Fires in Various Regions of Greece

Fires are wreaking havoc in several regions of Greece, especially in Achaia, Zakynthos, and Chios. Authorities are continuously issuing evacuation messages as the fires cause damage and injuries. In Achaia, at least 15 settlements have been evacuated. Strong winds are worsening the situation, while firefighters are working to control the flames. The fire risk remains very high across many areas of the country.
