Suspect in Murder Case Handed Over to Authorities in Cyprus

Daniel Yehonatan Zarug, a suspect in a crime in Israel, was handed over to the authorities of the Republic of Cyprus by UNFICYP. The handover process was completed through a checkpoint, and the procedures for his extradition to Israel have begun. Zarug is suspected of murdering a man's wife and injuring two others during an attack. Reports indicate that the U.S. was involved in his capture. The suspect used a fake passport and left Israel shortly after the crime.
