Two Men Fall Victim to Cryptocurrency Scam

Two men, aged 37 and 45, fell victim to an online scam and lost over €60,000, believing they were investing in cryptocurrencies. The scammers contacted them via messaging app and posed as financial advisors. After being encouraged, the men transferred money to an online cryptocurrency platform. When asked for additional funds to release supposed profits, they realized they had been scammed. The police warns the public to be cautious with online investments.
