Changes in Police Officer's Position Following Public Complaint

An officer working in the Cypriot Intelligence Service has left her position following a complaint of threats made against a citizen. The complaint came from Nicoletta Andreou-Tsikkini, who publicly revealed the officer's identity on social media. The report was submitted to the parliamentary Human Rights committee. According to the law, revealing the identity of a member of the intelligence service constitutes a criminal offense.
