Reopening of Grants for Electric Vehicles

The Department of Road Transport announced that the €9,000 grants for purchasing used electric vehicles were canceled due to incorrect application submissions. New applications will reopen on September 18, 2025, and will be accepted until September 20 or until the funds are exhausted. Eligibility excludes those who registered their vehicle before the application submission date. Approval of applications must be completed by October 31, 2025, at the latest.
