Approval for Energy Storage Facility in Psevdas

The Environmental Authority has approved the construction of a 59MW energy storage facility in the community of Psevdas. The project will cost €22 million and is expected to be completed within 10 months. The facility will store energy to enhance the stability of the national grid. Although located in an agricultural zone, the area was deemed suitable for this development. Various measures will be implemented to minimize potential environmental impacts.
