Fire Breaks Out in Garbage Pile Near Koshi Landfill

A fire broke out in a pile of garbage near the Koshi landfill. Three fire engines from Larnaca responded to the scene. The Environment Department and the Forestry Department are monitoring the situation as a precaution. The site management is using excavators and trucks to cover the garbage with soil. This process is expected to take several hours to complete.
