Authorities Prepare for Vaccinations Against Infections

Authorities are preparing for infections such as the flu, coronavirus, and pneumococcus. The Ministry of Health in Cyprus expects to receive the first batches of vaccines by September 30. There are concerns about RSV, which mainly affects children and the elderly, due to increased activity last year. Vaccines for the flu and coronavirus are already being procured, while the situation is being monitored by the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control. Although flu activity is currently low, preparations continue.
